Pister les manifestations de l’émotion en situation de résolution de problème

Abstract : In the field of human problem-solving, two major notions introduced by Jean-François Richard have significantly influenced this area of research: the idea that discovery is the result of a compromise in a set of subjec tive and objective constraints (Richard, Poitrenaud and Tijus 1993), and the distinction between problem space and semantic space (Richard 2004). In this contribution, we come back to the importance of Jean-François Ri- chard’s contribution to our understanding of problem-solving, and then show how his conceptual approach is well suited to investigate the interrelations between emotion and cognition.
