Deux géométries en jeu dans la géométrie plane : une qu'on appellera « dessinée » et une qu'on appellera « abstraite »

Abstract : The difficulty of working on geometry with secondary school students (grades 6-10) is known in France, particularly because of the frequent misunderstandings between students and teachers on this issue. A source of misunderstandings is the simultaneous and intertwined existence of "two geometries" in plane geometry. The paper suggests ways to resolve these misunderstandings. This text is the result of exchanges between a secondary school mathematics teacher, contributor to the 2016 french mathematical syllabus, involved in the writing of teacher guides, and a researcher in mathematic education, working on didactis of geometry.
